Hi, my name is Abigail Medeiros. Playing competitive college soccer has always been a goal of mine, including being able to study Exercise Science or go into a PA program.
I am willing to work hard to make my dream a reality, and I am constantly putting myself out of my comfort zone. Recently I decided it would be best for me to leave my club team of 3 years to find a new team that would push me harder. As difficult as it was to leave my old team, I am now playing at a higher level in the GA, and continuing to strive to learn more. I am versitile on the back line as I can play all centerback positions, and right back, however I am willing to try new positions.
I am currently in all honors classes, and I continue to maintain my grades even with my rigorous schedule; including club practices 3 times a week, SAQ and Injury prevetion twice a week, and games on weekends.
On the field I am vocal and encouraging with my teammates. I bring a positive attitude to every practice and game, and I’m always pushing my teammates to do their best.
When I'm not in school or playing soccer, I help out my local town soccer team. Whether it be setting up the fields, breaking down the fields, reffing, or assisting with coaching.
