2023 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Holly Feist and I am a 2024 graduate at Central Public Schools in Norwood Young America, Minnesota. I started playing soccer at seven years old through our local Community Education program in my hometown. I love giving back to the program by volunteering as a coach for one of the coed kindergarten through 1st grade teams. Coaching has helped me grow as a soccer player by teaching me leadership, patience, and communication skills.
My High School Coach says I’m the hardest working player on the team. I think that is because I believe in the phrase, “You play like you practice.” That is why I put 110% into every drill, practice, and game that I play. I am also very persistent, if I don't get something right during practice, I keep trying until I figure it out. Whether that means staying after practice and working with the coaches or putting in more practice hours at home in my backyard.
