Personal Statement

Soccer has shaped me into the person I am today. It has taught me values that I will cherish for the rest of my life like responsibility,  integrity, and respect for myself and others. I was five when i discovered and fell in love with the game. Over the past 11 years of playing soccer there have been obstacles, but I've always found a way to persevere. I feel you are measured by how you deal with failure rather than success. I plan to finish high school with a 30 on my ACT and to graduate with high honors. I will be majoring in Political Science, and then onto Law. As a player, i'm unique because i can play any field position besides goalkeeper. Im experienced in all. I'm currently starting outside back for both my school and soccer team. I'm particularly skilled in corner kicks, PK's, and free kicks. I possesses many qualities that make me a great leader, but also a listener and open to any constructive criticism!
