Dear Administrators,
Please accept this Letter of Introduction and Recommendation on behalf of Shannon Kelly. As the Soccer Coach for her Lou Fusz Soccer Team for the last few years, I have had the opportunity to work with Shannon on our team as her coach and friend. It is a privilege to have the chance to address the attributes Shannon demonstrates every day.
Cor Jesu has a reputation for facilitating the growth and development of strong women of positive influence. I believe Shannon represents many personal skills and character elements that are visible and meaningful, and which have a positive impact on our team members and their families. I know Cor Jesu would be proud of her attitude, her demeanor, and her confidence.
As a player, Shannon directs much of the action on the soccer field. She exhibits positive leadership, and demonstrates good sportsmanship.
As a team member, Shannon is well-respected by the other girls and coaches. She has a natural sense of personal integrity and good judgment, so her peers see her as a role model and a great example to others.
As a person, Shannon is obviously a young woman of character, self-discipline, and personal expectations that define her as a strong and caring young woman and a true leader.
I believe she represents the key elements of “honor,” and I am proud to have this chance to provide my support and respect for her.
Sincerely,
Coach Jeff Wayland

To whom it may concern:
I am writing a letter to introduce, recommend and support the application of Shannon Kelly.
Shannon has attended our CBC Dutchtouch International camp the past 2 summers and has really impressed me.
I have coached at the High School level for the past 48 years and I have seen many outstanding young players.
There are qualities that all exceptional players share, and Shannon has demonstrates those qualities as well.
Willingness to be a good teammate, to be a good listener, to work hard when no one is watching, to be positive and always giving her best,
to be very coachable, and to be very capable playing her position. Shannon has received various camp recognition awards
and has been selected as an elite camper to travel with us to Holland on a spring soccer trip.
Shannon is the type of player that any coach would love to have on their team – hard working, dependable, capable, competitive and friendly.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like any further information.

Re: Shannon
To Whom It May Concern
I met Shannon Kelly on the soccer field. She made me notice her right away. Anybody can have skill of strength and Shannon has those things, but she showed me her outstanding work ethic, leadership skills, and attitude. I coached Shannon during her freshman and sophomore years on Cor Jesu’s Junior Varsity team. She is the player that a coach hopes to have. It is a pleasure watching her grow, she is coachable and reliable. Shannon showed her determination and leadership on the field early on. When she was a freshman, she was elected captain and continued to take on this role during her sophomore season. As a captain, she makes it her priority to push her teammates to work harder. She works with them, laughs with them, and leads them to be better by her own example. As the season comes to an end, I am watching her meet and surpass my expectations.
I have never taught Shannon but I have seen her work through many seasons on the field and in the school setting. As a teacher I am part of the day-to-day operations at Cor Jesu and it is a pleasure seeing my players be great students as well. As I continue to see her grow, Shannon is impressive. She has the ability to manage her time well and work with other people as a leader who shows only patience. She embraces the challenge of balancing the many activities she is involved in. She leads with consistency on the soccer team. Shannon is a teammate during soccer season and during the school year as well. She finds joy in her work and smiles through it all. In fact, you will often find her laughing. Her attitude is impeccable because she serves her teammates and her classmates. What is so impressive about Shannon is that she works for others before she works for herself.
It is my pleasure to recommend Shannon Kelly. I have no doubt that she will success in any leadership setting. I picture Shannon taking on just as much if not more and succeeding. You can depend on Shannon. She will impress you with her patience, kindness, joyfulness, humor, and determination.
Sincerely,
