Achieve to Feed - June 2018-June 2019
Our group called “PC Hunger Fighters” is composed of 6 student-athletes from Port Chester High School. Our primary focus is to ‘fight hunger’ in our community through the Port Chester Community Gardens , One World, Lead 4 Change and local food pantries. We build vertical gardens to help produce vegetables and fruits . After this amazing experience during the summer our organization got recognition from lead 4 Change and we received $10,000 to help the “PC Hunger Fighters” with our next project which is to have a free farmers market for Port Chester residents,.
Missionary Trip to Nicaragua- April 2021
This trip to Nicaragua is to do community service with my parish . We will travel to this organization called ‘Mami Margarita’ which we will spend a week and a half there. During our time there our goal is to start building a school for the community and also a home for this family that my parish is sponsoring for . Building a school and home during our time there is an amazing experience I’m glad to be a part of . I will also be teaching English to the students and residents . This missionary trip to Nicaragua will be life changing for me and my parish . ,
