Personal Statement
I started playing soccer when I was six years old. Since then i have played on recreational, club, and school teams. I live in a very small town and go to a k-12 public school with less then 400 students. Being in such a small town has taught me many things such as dedication, hard work, and respect for everyone around me. I made my high school varsity soccer team in 8th grade. I pride myself on hard work and positivity. This had led me to becoming a starter in both the 2015 and 2016 seasons. I play for Rip Van Winkle soccer club in Cairo, NY as a full back and defensive midfielder. During the spring 2016 club season I was a starter on the u17 team at age 13.
My goals for college are to be in an environment where I can succeed in both academics and athletics. Bettering my education is extremely important to me because it will help me become a better well-rounded person. In the classroom I work very hard to maintain high grades and test scores.
