Addison Richardson '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches!  My name is Addison Richardson and I’m a 17 year old student at Ancaster High which is located in Ancaster, ON Canada in my senior year.  Over the past 9 years I have been an active participant with high level athletics through both Competitive Gymnastics - LEVEL 8 and Competitive/Regional Soccer.  In 2023 I made the difficult decision to retire from Gymnastics and focus all my energy to soccer and aiming to be the best I can be with the ultimate goal of playing at the collegiate level.  Others would describe me as an intense competitior who is passionate to win and improve, aggressive and determined.  I am always trying to learn and I’m very coachable as I ensure I take all constructive feedback and apply the learnings to improve my game overall.  My style on the field is to not only be a leader through my “never give up” play and attitude but I also think it’s important to always communicate with my teammates and convey positive feedback.  Academically, I always remain focused to be in the top percentile in my classes.   As a student athlete, the discipline needed to train hard along with maintaining and continually improving grades will help me achieve those goals I set for myself in the future.  I love to compete and I hope to help out whichever school I am fortunate enough to be part of.  A previous Team Captain for my Club team and well as Team Captain my Junior and Senior year for my High School team where I finished the season being named MVP (2024); this has also given me the opportunity to grow and learn as a leader.  I was recently named as the Senior Athlete of the Year for Ancaster High School - 2025!
