Kennedie Huber '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches. I have been seriously dedicated to two things since age five, academics and soccer. These have been my passions for as long as I can remember. My mom has been an educator for 22 years, so my love of learning mostly stems from her while my love for sport, especially soccer, was embedded by my father. He’s a work from home software engineer who also played soccer and even coached me for five years during my ‘rec days’. He and the assistant coach, and excellent trainer, created a little dynasty of a team and we dominated every game, even when we set up to scrimmage local travel teams. Winning aside, and most importantly, they taught us the love of the game, which in turn, taught us about commitment, sportsmanship, leadership, sacrifice, work ethic, and many other things that hold true even in my academic endeavors.

My mom and dad are both from big families where they each had five siblings. My many uncles, aunts, and now my older cousins are very successful in both sports and their careers, so they influence and support me to become a better player and achieve my career goal of becoming a pediatrician. Family is very important to me, that's why I love team sports, and I am blessed to have a very big and loving support system. I am looking for a college team that offers a good fit to continue my dedication to my ‘two loves’ at the next level. My profile speaks to my academic successes as do the videos for soccer but let me just say I believe I have the mindset for success, on and off the field, that I know any coach will appreciate. I believe I can join the right team and make a direct impact toward success because of my love of the game, skills, work ethic and the ability to be part of a family wherever I go.
