Nala Macherey '26 Recruiting Profile

    I am a great asset to any  team.   I am creative on the field and can make quick decisions that can change the game.    I am equally strong  on with both feet, but I score the most with my left.    I have played center mid in my youth days  and currently play left wing/ forward for club  and attacking mid in  high school.    I am a very flexible player and can play up top or anywhere in the middle.   My gift is that I can be the team's playmaker.  I am a generous player and I distribute the ball well throughout the game.    I played LA  Breakers ECNL and then  I moved to Austin in 2020 and starting playing for Lonestar GA  which I played on for 4 years.    I currently play for  Cap City GA because I still wanted to play in the Girls Academy and travel at a national level.  My former Lonestar team is waiting for ECNL status and I will go back if they reach it before my senior year.     It was hard to make the choice to stay in the GA , but I needed to still play at national event.  I currently play up  the 2006/2007 GA team playing both forward and midfield.  I am also on the South Texas ODP roster and have been for the last three years.     I have been a Varsity starter all four years, and as a sophomore I was first team All District  with the highest  goals for the season in my 6A Texas district playing in the mid field.  Please know Texas high school soccer is very competitive  with many players going  on to  being recruited at top colleges.     I am currently listed as a top 100 recruit for 2026 ( boys and  girls) in soccer wire.   I am currently taking honors Algebra 2 and AP Comp and Lang.    I plan on majoring in nursing or something health related.  I am also open to business and or something in hospitality.   I want to play at the highest level of soccer at a great school where I can contribute to the team as an athlete and a  motivator.  I take my studies seriously and I see myself going to graduate school after I finish soccer.
