About 8 years ago I fell in love with this game we call soccer. I had to push through a lot of insecurities and learn how to push myself in a healthy way but through those hard experiences I have been able to become the player I am now. I wasn't very good at first but because I am coach-able, and I wanted to become a better teammate and player, I have been able to grow and learn so much. I started my career playing defensive wing, then center back, and now I play defensive midfielder and I love it because I get so much action and I can be everywhere and still in the right spot. Even though I have seen a lot of growth in my athleticism and abilities, I am not ready to give that all up quite yet and I know that I have room for growth.
Some things that make me a great candidate include the fact that I am used to playing the full 80 minutes because I have the endurance and I know how to be smart about conserving my energy. I am a good defender, I love a good challenge and I don't give up. I have been developing my footwork and my passes/long ball accuracy is pretty good. I am a good communicator on and off the field. I can take constructive criticism and I'm good at applying it. I'm a fun person to be around and a great team player. If you need a team braider and someone with fantastic music taste for your team, I also got you covered there. I train with my team at practices and on my own I put in an effort to get extra cardio and lift weights to keep me in shape. I don't necessarily diet but I would say I prefer eating things that are considered healthy anyways because that's just what makes me feel good.
Academically I am a 3.89 GPA student. I am an Honors and AP student and my schedule is currently filled with concurrent enrollment classes through the University of Utah. I enjoy school and harder classes that force me to push myself. I am eligible for the NCAA. I just haven't paid that fee yet. As for future plans, I already have my CNA, and I really want to go further into nursing school because I love being able to develop relationships and make a difference in making someone's life a little bit better.
That's just a little bit about me and I can't wait for you to get to know me better!!
