Ruby Citron '29 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was three years old, and ever since I was selected for a club team at the age of eight, I have always had an unwavering devotion to the game. Some of my earliest coaches expressed the importance of the beautiful game through their teachings, and the topics of maintaining possession, looking for forward opportunities, and forming deep connections with my teammates have always stuck with me. After recently receiving a spot on the Western Washington Surf GA 2010 Aspire team, my love for the game has only increased, as has my determination. I love expressing my emotions through creativity in soccer, but I always maintain focus. I have consistently worked towards being the kindest version of myself, and even though my competitive nature shines through when I'm playing, I never forget my personal ethics. I'm currently a High School Freshman with a 4.0 GPA and I continue to work hard both academically and athletically.
