My collegiate goal is to earn a bachelor's degree in Psychology however I also have an interest Sports Therapist. I believe that the combination of these two fields would give me the needed tools to be able to help other athletes to overcome injuries and return to their dreams.
My aspiration is to become a professional Athlete to be inspirational to all females and female athletes a like. To be able show that they can achieve anything that they dream.
I believe that I would be a good candidate to your team, because I feel I am committed to the sport of soccer along with believing it is not just about achieving my goals, but helping other team members to achieve their goals. I believe it is not just about one person on the team but everyone on the team.
I am different from other athletes in a few ways. In one way I have had two injuries that I have suffered while playing soccer, yet I have turned those injuries into motivation to become better not just as an athlete but as a person. It is through these injuries that my approach, enthusiasm and work ethics have grown stronger, and has made me look at things differently. They have taught me never take anything for granted and always fight to achieve one’s goals on and off the field.
In another way I am different for other athletes is through my years of soccer and the different situations that I have had to over come has taught me to look at situations. That one must adapt and overcome many different situations to achieve one’s goals. One of the most important lessons is no matter how bad a situation is that I always must find one positive no matter how small and make it as big as possible to outweigh all the negative. By doing this it allows me to look at new situations or new systems and adapt to achieve a favorable outcome on the field or off.
I believe that being a high-character athlete is not just important on the field but also in academics. One’s approach, enthusiasm and work ethics are just as important in academics as it is on the team, if you fail in academics you fail as an athlete both on and off the field.
