Ever since I saw my brother playing soccer at 5 years old, I fell in love with the game. And it became my obsession to play soccer, and hopefully, one day play soccer at the highest level. I have had my fair share of struggles and hardships. Every year that I tried out for clubs I was slightly short to make it on the A team or other known as ECNL. But, that served as motivation to keep working hard for the next season, only stronger.
I believe that my struggles have created resilience and grit in me that will help me be more of an asset to my teams by pushing myself, and those around me to be their best. These struggles have also helped me accept failure, eliminate the fear of failing, and use that failure to improve. I'm not afraid to speak up and speak my mind. I've grown to be a leader for my team and to lift them up when they fall mentally, just as I needed. I'm also confident I can adapt to all environments whether in a classroom or on the field. I'm determined to win and compete anywhere I go. I'm excited to see what adversities I have to face in the near future, and how my journey will continue to carry on. I have big goals and dreams, and working hard every day to achieve them.
