Brooke Beaty '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Brooke. I am a senior at Pleasant Grove High School in Elk Grove, California. I have been swimming since my freshman year. I have perused the sport on and off the high school team by swimming for a club during the summer. I found I was most comfortable in the water and immediately in love with the sport. As I have only been swimming for 3, coming on 4 years, I have a great amount of room for improvement in my speed. 

As I know swimming at the collegiate level is serious and something that will be a whole new challenge, I intend to give my all in every scenario and push myself to my full capabilities. I am a competitive person who constantly wants to improve. I am a leader and can also be very coachable. 

I have done multiple hours of community service through my school, as well as being a part of our student government. I am a hard worker, even though it may not be completely reflected by my grades. 

I want to be in a school where I can wok hard in the classroom and in the pool. I am open to all options as far as colleges to attend and I look forward to the options which may be presented to me. I hope whichever schools become interested in my abilities will lead me to a decision which will make my family proud.
