Throughout my life, I have developed a passion for swimming. Now, during the pandemic that has placed an amount of stress that I have never felt before, swimming has always been my "escape" from reality. In my collegiate career, I want to continue pursuing my passion for swimming and become a faster and stronger swimmer, but also a better teammate, student, and friend. The difference between me and other recruits is I am mentally adapted to face any challenge, whether it is a rough day, a hard set, or a hard event. I don't let my mind get into my actions. Not only that, but I know this sport is so much more than the times I go off the block. It's about the togetherness, being a team, and pushing yourself past your limits.
