Hi, my name is Alex Zorn and I'm from Jacksonville, Fl. I have been swimming since I was about 6 years old and I have enjoyed the sport ever since. I enjoy spending time with my family and dog, and my friends at school and swim. I started at my current school, The Bolles School, in Pre-K and have learned so much from taking honors classes and more. Over the years, I struggled to find motivation in swimming as I had multiple wrist surgeries, but with the help of my teammates and constant training, I had fantastic recoveries and continue to love the sport. I hope to swim in college because I am very dedicated to swimming and my lifestyle evolves around it. I try to find the positive aspects of intense practices and races, and I love to hear feedback of what I need to work on in order to get better. I am willing to push myself at every practice so I can improve my times and benefit the team as a whole. Alongside my passionate love for swimming, I one day hope to enter the field of either the veterinary practice or of psychology/psychiatry. Not only am I dedicated to swimming, but also I am very driven by my school life, as I always like an academic challenge. Thank you very much for looking into my profile and I hope that I can benefit the team with points, spirit, and academic strength.
