Hello! I'm Drew Landrowski. I have committed to The University of Chicago!
I am currently a senior in the Streamwood High School World Language and International Studies Academy (WLISA). Through the WLISA program, I have been able to learn Mandarin Chinese at a very advanced level, and was ranked 3rd in the nation for speech proficiency. Junior year was quite exciting, and I was chosen to be the President of National Honors Society at my school. This is one of my proudest accomplishments to date. I am also an active member of my community, volunteering over 50 hours my junior year with a variety of organizations (my favorite being Diveheart).
I have been swimming competitively for around ten years, and have been selected to be my team's athlete representative in the Illinois Swimming House of Delegates and am a voted member of the Illinois Swimming Board of Directors and will represent Illinois Swimming nationally. I swim for a small club, and hope to improve through college. Chronologically, I am a year younger than my peers and will enter college at the age of 17.
