Annika Gustafson '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Annika Gustafson. I have been competitively swimming for 5 years. Prior to my swimming career I was a competitive gymnast for 6 years. My passion for gymnastics slowly faded and my new passion became swimming. I've been told by my gymnastics coaches and my swim coaches, that I am very coachable and very accepting to learn new things to improve my skills. Ever since I started swimming, one of my biggest goals has always been to swim at the collegiate level. I've always looked up to those who swam in college and thought, that's going to be me someday. I love to volunteer inside my community and outside. I do a lot of volunteer work with my church, such as being a Sunday school teacher, helping those in need, and volunteering at camps. Since 6th grade, I've been rewarded with highest  honor rolls.  I always love to push myself and give myself a good challenge.
