2023 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Kobe Bryant stated, "You have to work hard in the dark to shine in the light" I live by this quote and remind myself that no one controls my efforts, attitude, or success, I do. Desiring to be a collegiate swimmer, I would bring a positive attitude, fierce competition, friendship, and dedication to the team. Swimming is my passion, some people swim because it's all they've known, I swim because it's all I want to know. Furthermore, competing is a privilege, not everyone gets to do something they truly love and feel satisfied when they are completely empty because they gave their all. I am thankful that the pool is my second home, and my teammates are my family. Striving is my nature; therefore, I am also a diligent student and enjoy my time in the classroom. There will always be someone who is faster and smarter, but I will always outwork my competitors with a smile on my face.
