Brenna Mccarty '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brenna McCarty, graduating class of 2024, and I have been swimming since the 7th grade. I believe I am very coachable and am always looking for ways to improve myself through hard work both in and out of the water. My goal is to one day become a social media marketer for big companies or within the entertainment/music industry. I love to express my creativity and seek to develop my skillset in graphic design as well. Balancing swim, academics, and life has taught me that accomplishments do not always come easily, but the one thing that has kept me grounded in my swim journey is when my dad used to always tell me "Don't let anyone outwork you or have the most fun" before practices. That motto is something that I plan to carry out in furthering both my academic and athletic futures. My family is my biggest support system, and my Christian beliefs and values help differentiate me from other people my age. With that being said; I seek to push myself to my full potential, never stopping until I know I have nothing left to give, and that is what I believe sets me apart.
