Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Kirby Tock and I am going to be a current junior at Baraboo High School, soon to be starting my Junior year. I closed off the year with an average of a 3.75 GPA. I participated in clubs such as the Social Justice Club, Interact, and Spanish club. On the athletic side of things, I closed off my sophomore high school season with two podium finishes at the D2 WIAA swim meet. Getting both 5th in the 100 fly and 200 medley relay. I also competed in the 200 Individual Medley at the meet as well. I swam club all throughout the winter and spring as well as focusing a lot of my grades this last semester of my sophomore school.
I like to believe that I have a determined mind set all throughout practices and competitions no matter what the situation is. I work hard and attend every single practice I am physically able to and am always trying to have a positive mindset. Cheering on my teammates is something I love about the sport because it is a chance for the team aspect of swimming to come out! Hopefully I can eventually carry on these characteristics and achieve new ones as I hope to continue my swimming career into college!
