Let’s work hard, play hard. My collegiate goals and aspirations are to study and train to reach my full potential academically and athletically.
As a student, I plan to explore majors that have piqued my curiosity such as: architecture, biochemistry, philosophy, entrepreneurship, and music.
As an athlete, I plan to hone my skills and elevate my mental game in tennis in order to compete at the highest level I possibly can. My Dad first introduced me to sports when I was a little kid, and our time working together on and off the court has shaped our incredible relationship and my love for tennis and competition. As a younger player, I joined Junior Team Tennis, contributing to winning Sectional championships. Throughout high school, I played the No. 1 singles position all 4 years and led my teams to win League Champion (4 years) and CIF-SS Champion (2 years). I helped Westridge School for Girls win CIF and bump up from Division 4 to Division 2 and I also did the same for La Salle College Preparatory winning CIF and bumping up from Division 5 to Division 3. I was elected as captain/co-captain (3 years); was awarded MVP (4 years); and am undefeated in my League Individuals (4 years). Off season, I volunteer as a hitter, teach at youth tennis camps in the summer, and compete in USTA, UTR and ITA tournaments.
I am a multi-sport athlete, having played high school volleyball, softball, and basketball. But playing 8+ years of tennis has been character building. Personally, I’ve been proud of myself for always being the first at practice and the last to leave the court as well as always being a lively spirit within the team’s community. I always compete for the good of the team whether that means I play singles or doubles, and I play smart to win.
I am excited for an opportunity to play in college and thrive with a tennis family within my academic community. I am highly driven, ready to contribute strong work ethics, and looking forward to developing genuine camaraderie.
