I have been playing tennis for seven years. Playing tennis gives me something to work for, it allows me to focus on a goal and then reach for it. Tennis allows me to get out of my head and gives me a break from everything else. Playing at a college level would be amazing because I would have the opportunity to continue setting goals and then accomplishing them. In 2019 I was one of two middle schoolers on the highschool JV team, played number one singles and had a personal record of 7-1. In 2020 I was placed on the Varsity team but the season was cancelled due to Covid-19. In 2021 I secured my seat on the varsity team playing first singles and sometime first double with the personal record or 3-1.
In both athletics and academics I have been described as coachable and teachable. I work my hardest on and off the court being seated at first single and maintaining a high GPA. I volunteer and do community services through my school and town and enjoy helping other people.
