Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember. I play/have played many sports, but soccer has always been my favorite. When envisioning myself as a collegiate athlete, I have always seen myself as a soccer player. My goal is to go to a college that is the right fit for me, not just athletically, but also academically. I hold the title of student-athlete. I will always be committed to doing my best as an athlete. However, I recognize how important it is to be a good student. This is why I will always ensure that I perform as well in the classroom as I am on the field. On and off the field, I see how important it is to be a leader. So when it comes to encouraging people in practice and games, or just making sure the team is up to date and organized, my team can always count on me.
2021 High School Season- My freshman year of High School! Freshman year was a very successful season for me. I worked very hard in practices and games. I started all of our games and ended the season with a total of 13 goals and 9 assists. I played mostly attacking center mid, as well as occasionally playing forward, outside mid, and holding mid. I was named Rookie of the Year for my team.
2022 High School Season- In the second game of the season, I broke my right tibia. This was mentally challenging for me, as I would not be able to play for my sophomore season. I saw this year as my year to shine and show people what I could do before club season. Through hard work and lots of PT, I am set to return to play on Jan. 1st, 2023. This means I will not be able to attend ECNL TN, but I will be able to play in ECNL FL 2023!
