I have been an athlete since the age of four years old, but not in the sense that many would think when athletics come to mind. I started competitive dance as a small child and this taught me discipline, determination, and helped me to develop a strong work ethic. When I started high school, I pivoted to tennis and quickly fell in love with the sport due to its quick pace, aggressive play, and team dynamics. I differ from other recruits because I am used to critique (due to dance) and I seek it. I am constantly asking my coaches how I can improve because I want to be the best player that I can be (for myself and my team). Ultimately, I strive to work in the medical field in a pediatric unit. As such, I hope to attend a college that offers a strong medical program and great tennis team.
