Hi, I'm Fiona -
I’m a grade 12 student at Burlington Central High School in Burlington Ontario.
Tennis is a huge part of my life: I have been playing since I was six years old, and have progressed steadily.
I am currently ranked Nationally 144 in Womens Open rankings. I am ranked 55 in Ontario. World Tennis Number : 29.9 Singles / 31.2 Doubles.
My greatest assets as a tennis player are definitely my powerful serve, currently reaching over 100 mph, and my technical clean strokes.
I am an accomplished multi-sport athlete. In addition to tennis, I play soccer on the Flamborough-Dundas girls U17s (goalkeeper) and on the Hamilton Untied Elite U17 OPDL (the highest level of junior soocer in Ontario), and on a variety of school teams, including volleyball and basketball. I was proud to be named BCHS Junior Girls Athlete of the Year in 2021.
Academically, I am taking university-stream courses with a focus on business, math and science, maintaining a 80% average. I am also pursuing a French bilingualism certificate. In university, I am considering a Business or Sport Management program. I also have two part-time jobs: assisting with kids’ programs at the Burlington YMCA, and as an assistant tennis coach at the Aldershot Tennis Club in Burlington.
