January 2021Personal Statement
My name is Madelyn Reyes, I am a doubles and singles varsity tennis player at La Vernia High School. Tennis has been a big part of my life and has pushed me to be the best athlete I can be, whether it's physically or mentally challenging.
I believe I would be a good asset to any college team because I am a hard worker on and off the court with a great work ethic. As well as being a very coachable athlete that is willing to listen to feedback from coaches and adapt to last-minute changes. I have been able to keep a high GPA while showing up for practices, games, and tournaments throughout my high school career.
I am looking for a college that will support me academically and on the court. The majors I'm interested in are athletic training, sports management, nursing, and emergency medicine. I want to help others and I feel as if these majors will allow me to do so.
