I wasn't fortunate enough to join Track my Freshman year of high school, however when I joined my Sophomore year I fell in love with Track. More specifically in Hurdles, of course. I am very committed to my track team at Redlands High School I love each and everyone of my fellow runners they help be become who I am today. Not only has Track helped me mentally, emotionally, and physically, it has helped me through so much more in life. To be completely honest I cannot see myself with out it. I really do hope and pray that I am able to further my training, pushing my body to achieve more in Track throughout my time in college. I am so very passionate about this sport. Without it don't know where I'd be. What makes me different is my willingness to push myself through any obstacle that comes my way, I mean it is what I do when I run anyway so why not apply that to life. Academically I'd probably say I'm very average I know I try my best to understand my material and achieve it in all aspects for I am a very hard worker. I believe too that I can make a difference...I want to be someone for people to look up to, a role-model. To be able to inspire is what I truly want to achieve throughout my life.
