Running makes people mentally and physically strong. By running it has raised my confidence and has made me have a more positive outlook on everything in life. It has also taught me that no matter what never give up. Whenever you have a bad workout or a bad race you have to just shake it off and remember there is going to be another opportunity. I am a leader and I'm always willing to help others. In previous years I have won sportsmanship awards, and that is one of the things I love about running. Everyone races against each other and has competition but at the end of the race you know the pain everyone else went through was the same as your own. So you congratulate them and tell them good job since they finished and just went through the same thing as you. I love the atmosphere and feeling of being around a close team and creating an everlasting bond.
