Personal Statement
My name is Jada Branch. I am an incoming senior transferring from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. I am currently studying Kinesiology with hopes to pursue my masters in Athletic Training and possibly Sport Psychology. My current GPA is 3.079. I have received countless academic achievement awards along with leadership and service recognition awards. I was an E-Board member on our SAAC committee and Co-Chairholder of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. My events include Triple Jump (Primary 40’3.5”), Long Jump (Secondary 18’9.75”), Hurdles (300m- 45.38*HS), 200m (25.21), and 400m (56.53). I am looking for an opportunity to achieve what I came into college athletics to do finally, and that is to win and be successful individually and as a team. I believe that that opportunity lies within your program, and I would be a fantastic asset to have.
I am in search for a program that seeks to push their athletes beyond the limit they set for themselves. I am also looking for a team with a winning mindset and a team goal. I believe every athlete should be given the opportunity to succeed in every endeavor presented to them and should never be told otherwise.
Personally, I believe that I am a 5-star caliber athlete, and I am in need of 5-star caliber coaching that will get me to my desired achievement and that is to be a champion. I am a devoted and determined student-athlete. I give 1000% of myself to my craft and team. Moreover, I believe my next university will help me achieve my goals.
