Kaila Spence '22 Recruiting Profile

    I am a Junior at Glenelg High School, MD. I competed at the varsity level all years of my high school program. I originally participated in track to stay in shape for soccer. However, I began to excel in the sport and ran competitively. Freshman year I ran a 2:22 in the 800m at outdoor states. Sophomore year I ran a 2:23 at indoor states in the 800m that earned second place. Additionally, Sophomore year at the indoor state championship I anchored the 4x800m relay that finished gold. Currently, I hold a cumulative 4.22 GPA and am part of the principal honor role at my high school. I participate in various extracurricular activities including Student Government, National Honors Society, countywide interact/service group (HOCO Interact), and part of a mentorship program at my high school (Gladiators on the Horizon).
