Hello, my name is Nora Kisiel. I am a Junior at Essex Northshore Agricultural and Technical School. I am a compassionate and hard-working person who wants to run at the collegiate level.
Running is a passion of mine and during my junior and senior year, I am going to work hard to get myself to the D1 level. With only two years of training in high school, I started freshman year running a 14.20 in the 100meter, but as I worked harder I dropped my PR to 13.22 by the end of sophomore year. I plan to keep pushing to get into the recruiting requirements. Over the summer I was with NewEngland Elite running club, and will continue training into the fall to prepare for my indoor running season.
At Essex Tech I am in HVAC/R I chose HVAC as my career path and plan on majoring in business, so I will have a strong foundation starting out as a business owner. I put in a great deal of hard work and determination to be successful in my trade. Continuing into college I plan on taking the life skills that I've learned from HVAC and putting them into my future college running and academic career. When I am not running or working hard at my academics I volunteer at Buttonloop Children's Therapies helping out in many ways.
