Personal Statement
I’m Olivia Barba and I’m a rising senior at Grosse Pointe South High School in Michigan. I’ve done track and field for 4 years. I throw at my school and I’ve done winter and summer training with Michigan Elite Throws for one year and Kaizen Throws for a little less than a year. I really enjoy the community aspect of throwing and how everyone is rooting for each other. I love meeting new people at the meets I go to and cheering on my teammates. In college, I’m interested in studying chemistry and environment sciences.
