Personal Statement
From a young age, probably around five or six, I became interested in athletics. I began competing in baseball, as the only girl in the league, until I was twelve. From this time I have competed in cross-country, basketball, track, and softball. Being a twin, and living in a semi-rural community has developed me into a person who can work with others, be independent, and responsible. I have learned from playing sports how to set and achieve goals. This practice has continued with my academics, where I have maintained a 3.7 GPA. I enjoy art, being creative, and learning new things. I'm excited to attend college, where I can compete, learn, and grow.
