I love to run and running has greatly impacted my life! I ran Girls on the Run in elementary school, cross country in middle school, and cross country/track in high school. My favorite part of running is racing because I love the feeling of pushing my body to its limit. My mom and I lead a triathlon club in the summer, which my brother participates in. We also help coach Track Club in the spring, which both of my siblings participate in. I love working with kids and introducing them to this amazing sport. Besides running, I spend my time reading, studying, camping, and spending time with my family and friends. My siblings will still be young when I go to college, so I would love to go to a college within a drivable distance of my home. I plan to become a coach because I want to share my love of running with others!
My strongest running-related characteristic is my grit. I leave everything out on the track/cross country course because I need to know that I give every race 100%, no matter the conditions. My determination to give 100% shows in the consistency of my track times. I am durable and have never struggled with a running injury. I am hoping to find teammates who share my love for running, so we can work together to achieve team and personal goals!
