My name's Alaysia Hampton and I am a senior at Byron P. Steele High School.
I am 5'6 and weigh 135 lbs. I have been running track for 8 years. 4 years in middle school and all four years in high school. I also ran summer track for the Randolph Roadrunners. I can run the 100 M dash, 200 M dash, 4x200 M Relay, 4x100 M relay, and The 4x400 M relay but i best at the 200 m dash and the 100 M dash. My fastest time in that is a 24.94 in the 200 and an 11.99 in the 100 and i made it to state with those times last year. I made all-area last year also. I am a hard worker, VERY competitive, will never let my team or coah down and it is most definitely my dream to run track in college. I have looked at some schools and Texas A&M, LSU, and Nebraska University are some of the schools I like. Im not really sure of which I want to go to yet but they all have really good track teams. I am also open for different colleges, not just those. I would like to go to a D1 school BUT as i said im open to others as well. My desired major i have not yet narrowed that down. My goals are to not only play as a freshman in college, but all four years and I would like to play at the highest competion level possible.
