Personal Statement

Physical activity drives me. It pushes me in all areas of my life as a student, athlete, coach, and volunteer. The mental and physical conditioning is like a bolt of energy that results in me being productive in other aspects.

I aspire to be a collegiate student track and field athlete. As a high school student, I have continuously progressed in the sport, qualifying for states and medaling while maintaining a 3.5 GPA in honors and AP classes. Participating and competing alongside other driven and amazing college athletes is a dream! This is a goal I’ve been working hard towards since I imagined it as a young child.

I differ from other athletes in that, in addition to being a track and field athlete, I have qualified and competed at the U.S. Synchronized Swimming Junior Olympics (now known as Artistic Swimming) for the past five years across the country. In addition, I’ve trained for the sport year-round for seven years, which has conditioned and prepared me for indoor and outdoor track seasons.

In addition to my athletic activities with track and field, synchro, and field hockey, an essential part of my high school years has been as an active participant in the National Honor Society. The organization represents my enthusiasm for academics and volunteer work in the community, which is a core part of my values.

I am excited and look forward to pursuing collegiate opportunities that align with my goals of being an exceptional student-athlete!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
