My goals are to continue to improve as a runner and as a student athlete. I know if I keep working hard like I have been over the past few years, I will be able to accomplish great things both academically and athletically. I not only enjoy the competitiveness with athletics, but the camaraderie that comes with being on a team. During my freshman season, I was lucky enough to be on Muskego's WIAA Girls Division 1 State Championship Cross Country Team. We then placed second at the Nike Heartland Regional Cross Country Meet where our team advanced to the Nike Cross Country National Meet in Portland, Oregon.
On June 26, 2021 during my sophomore year, the 3200 relay team I competed on placed 3rd at the WIAA State Track Meet. I also placed 4th individually in the 3200 meter run (11:00. 08) to help our team tie for the state track title. Later that day my family drove to Colorado Springs where I began training with a CO Springs Club Team for the summer. Unfortunately, on July 24, I suffered a medial tibia stress fracture that sidelined me for the 2021 cross country season. I tried to turn that disappointing injury into a positive situation by participating on the swim team the fall of my junior year.
