Ellie Zagel '23 Recruiting Profile

Out of the variety of sports I have played in my life, I feel as though my experience racing snowmobiles has related most to Track and Field.  During snowmobile racing, I not only learned individual skills, but teamwork skills.  While on the race track during a race, I was forced to trust myself and my skills, very similar to my experiences in track and field.  In the last 2 seasons of Track and Field, I learned that while on the track and on the runway, I have to trust that my practice and skills will lead me to success.   From a team accept, I have been forced to take a leadership role on my High School team, due to a shortage of Senior athletes.  Even though I am a three sport athlete which takes a lot of time, I have used my time management skills and determination to maintain a 4.0 unweighted GPA.
