Calla Hayes '24 Recruiting Profile

I am currently in my senior year of high school. I attend Walter Wellborn High School in Anniston AL. Going through my high school years I have strived to push myself to the best of my ability. I am in all advanced and honors classes, I am a dual enrollment student at Jacksonville State University, and I am a member of many school clubs. I believe that my academics are just as important as my athletic career. Volleyball is my passion. Every time I am on the court, I feel like I could stay out there all day. Every practice and every game I attend is a new learning experience for me.   I love that part of Volleyball, but my favorite feeling of the game is the adrenaline I feel on the court when playing a really good team and pulling through for the win. I love being competitive and working with my team to become better. My team recently competed in the 2023 regionals in Montgomery Alabama, and are going on to compete in the State championship.
