My name is A'Kirra McElveen, and I am a class of 2025 Middle Hitter at Alabama Christian Academy and Capital City Juniors Volleyball Club. I started playing volleyball my freshman year of high school in 2021 on my Junior Varsity team in Stuttgart, Germany. During basketball season I balance both volleyball and basketball while also staying on top of my grades, as I am able to manage my time wisely. I have taken on the role of a student athlete very seriously as I intend to pursue a degree in Psychology and become a Sports Psychologist. Since freshman year, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA while keeping up with the rigorous schedule of a student athlete. I take honor in being a coachable athlete and adjusting to my coach's feedback quickly and working continuously to better myself on and off the court. My passion for volleyball has made the sport a huge part of my life and I'm striving to play at the collegiate level and glorify God through it.
