The highlight of my senior year was regionals for high school. My team and I played together exceptionally well even though we lost. Being brought up as an only child, I was pushed by my parents to constantly strive to be better both academically and athletically. I was a dancer before I started playing volleyball, and my dad wanted me to try out for the volleyball team in 8th grade to see if I liked the sport. From that moment I fell in love with the sport. Maintain grades while playing volleyball year-round is important to me and I have tried to keep up at least a 3.5 grade point average throughout my four years of high school. I have become a compassionate player, a hard worker, and a good team player. I understand what it means to play for the team and doing that makes playing the sport that much better to me.
