Margot Mafra Spen...Personal Statement
I am interested in attending an academically challenging liberal arts college and contributing to a strong volleyball team.
I attend North HS because it has an International Baccalaureate program and I am on the IB Diploma track. I was very lucky because three club players (including me) tried out for the team when we were freshmen. For the first time in 9 years, the school had a winning record. Our sophomore year we won League and made it to the second round of CIF.
With the Mavericks, I play on the 16-1s and I am one of three outside hitters. Our team won the USA Division at the LA Qualifier a few weeks ago and we will be going to New Orleans in June.
I am very excited to work hard with the right coach and team in college and I am excited to win at the next level!
