Damysia Walls '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Damysia Walls. I have been playing volleyball, my main sport since the summer of fifth grade. I have always been into sports. This was due to my dad who would practice basketball with me back in 3rd grade. Because of him, my love for sports blossomed and I tried other sports such as volleyball, track and field, and softball. Though I tried all these other sports, volleyball continued to be my favorite. All these sports have helped me bring different skills into my volleyball playing such as timing, footwork, determination, and reaction time.  As a player, I do my best to be encouraging and bring consistent energy. While I continue to grow while playing volleyball, I want to become more confident in my abilities. During high school, I have done volleyball, basketball, club volleyball and track and field. Despite sometimes juggling two sports at once, I have balanced a 3.67-3.75 GPA, which shows my discipline and determination to do what I love.
