Mckenzie Gibson '17 Recruiting Profile

    I have been playing volleyball since I was eleven years old. I fell in love with volleyball while watching my older cousins play. It wasn't until I  started playing for Simi Valley High School that I became interested in playing in college. I know playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity for myself that could really change my life.

    I have a strong defense, I am scrappy, and have a good serve. I am a team player, I take responsibility for my actions, but know that a team wins together and loses together. I am the one boosting everyone's energy and trying to get everyone's confidence up.  Every coach I've had says I'm very coachable and hard working. I take criticism well and I'm always ready to improve. My sophomore year on JV i won the award for Most Improved and i received the same award my junior year and first year on varsity
