Peyton Helscher '21 Recruiting Profile

I am an athlete for Porter Valley Polar Bears, where I am in the highest group possible. I have been swimming competitively since I was 7.  On my swim team I am known for organizing any group activities between my teammates. Having such a role on my team has given me a lot of responsibilties and opportunities for leadership. I show up to almost every practice I possibly can and constantly communicate with my coach if I am unable to attend. I am hoping to be on a college team to ensure I have a sort of family on campus as well as to know people who share my interests in the sport. I know that swimming is not by any means an easy sport and requires a high level of dedication to succeed and with me on your team I will build upon your team's reputation of dedication and hard work.

My academic goal is to graduate from high school and immediately attend a four your college that I can swim for. My ultimate goal is to graduate with a four year degree in Equine Studies. I find my grades just as important as my athletics. As my coach you will never have to worry about my grades falling below the required standards.
