Addyson Salyards '26 Recruiting Profile

In my eight years of playing volleyball, I've discovered not only how to be a better athlete, but how to be a good leader on and off the court. I try to be a encouraging and positive teammate, and I always give maximum effort. Being a team captain has pushed me to grow as an athlete and as a person by finding my mental strength. Through 10 years of participating in 4H, I have learned that hard work pays off if you have determination and a good work ethic. I relate that to all my sports and academics. 

Sports are more than leisure activities, they're life lessons, memories and a way of life. My biggest goal as a college athlete, is to be the best role model for the younger generation and take advantage of the time god gives me to play sports. Before you know it, I will be turning in my jersey for good.
