I am thrilled and humbled to announce my commitment to Colorado Mesa University! I owe immense gratitude to my family, friends, coaches, and teammates who have supported me every step of the way. Special thanks to all my Denver Elite coaches and teammates. I want to thank the Middle Park High School lacrosse team and coaches for starting our high school program and keeping it going strong. A big thank you to all the 10th Mountain coaches and players. Additionally, I want to extend my thanks to Coach Vella and the Fraser Valley Lacrosse Club for introducing me to lacrosse. I am truly grateful for the opportunity provided to me from the CMU staff, Coach Moyer, Coach Ernst, and Coach Amiatu. I am incredibly excited to join the Colorado Mesa Lacrosse Team. “Carter is a Multi-sport athlete from Middle Park HS, varsity letter in Soccer, Basketball and Football (Team Captain). 6'1" 195 lbs right handed Lacrosse varsity starter as Freshman, 1st Team All-Conf as Sophomore, Honorable Mention All-State as Junior, playing club for  Denver Elite. Aggressive on ball defender who throws a variety of take away checks. Physical, runs through bodies when sliding and fighting through picks. Carter has stick skills and size to push transition, creative finisher of the dodge or from range with power and accuracy. “

• Affects Passing Lanes: Good stick positioning and hand-eye coordination helps with getting interceptions and knockdowns.

• Ball Handling/Clearing: Excels at ball handling in the clearing game. Solid catching and throwing technique and protects stick when moving up field. Has speed to get away from riding players.

From Inside Lacrosse: "Carter is a defensive prospect out of Middle Park HS in CO that has great size, length, and an aggressiveness that has him weaponizing that length to cover ground and apply pressure in the middle of the field. He seeks opportunities to jump ball carriers and does a great job of making split-second decisions that allow him to disrupt the play. His size and skill set make for a versatility that allows him to effectively fill a role taking wings, working hard in the ride, playing LSM in 6v6 sets, or simply being an effective close defender."
