From LXTC Lacrosse / Denver Elite "Congratulations to DE 2025 LSM/Def, Carter Chamberlin, for his commitment to Colorado Mesa University! Carter is an intelligent and physical athlete, playing aggressively in the middle of the field, while consistently generating turnovers with well timed checks and double teams. He is active in the ground ball game, and possesses the speed and skill to threaten in transition. Carterâs disciplined footwork and technique make him a formidable on-ball defender. We are excited to watch what Carter does as a Maverick, throughout his collegiate career."
From Greg Rosenberg, NCSA:
âCarter is a Multi-sport athlete from Middle Park HS, varsity letter in Soccer, Basketball and Football (Team Captain). 6'1" 195 lbs right handed Lacrosse varsity starter as Freshman, 1st Team All-Conf as Sophomore, Honorable Mention All-State as Junior, playing club for Denver Elite. Aggressive on ball defender who throws a variety of take away checks. Physical, runs through bodies when sliding and fighting through picks. Carter has stick skills and size to push transition, creative finisher of the dodge or from range with power and accuracy. â
Toughness: Physical when sliding. Uses body to win ground balls.
From Inside Lacrosse: "Carter is a defensive prospect out of Middle Park HS in CO that has great size, length, and an aggressiveness that has him weaponizing that length to cover ground and apply pressure in the middle of the field. He seeks opportunities to jump ball carriers and does a great job of making split-second decisions that allow him to disrupt the play. His size and skill set make for a versatility that allows him to effectively fill a role taking wings, working hard in the ride, playing LSM in 6v6 sets, or simply being an effective close defender."
1. Aggressively plays the ball. 2. Beneficial size and length. 3. Versatility between close and LSM.
-"aggressive defender/lsm that pushes the ball in transition"
-"physical on the ball..."
-"solid stick likes to run the ball in transition, can get out of a jam"
-"does Vhold at times which I like"
