I'm Jade Fernandez, a student at Peak to Peak Charter School in Lafayette, Colorado, set to graduate in 2025. With a 4.4 GPA, I'm eager to pursue a degree in biochemistry in order to become a Pharmacist. I am also interested in studying minors such as Hawaiian culture/language and surf studies. As a 5'6 utility, I have played positions ranging from a defense specialist, to a setter, and an outside hitter. In addition, I play for the Denver Juniors Volleyball Club. My passion for volleyball drives me to give my all on the court, and I actively attend open gyms and ask questions in order to develop my skills further. I'm looking for a collegiate program that values personal growth on and off the court, teamwork, and the pursuit of individual and group objectives.

- Showcase Camp - Denver Volleyball, Sunday 06/04/2023 Evaluated at Showcase Camp - Denver Volleyball on 06/04/2023 by Coach Snyder of Colorado Christian University Skillset Overview Technical Abilities - Offense - Has a knack for finding the court on the attack, sees the open court, and has the ability to make solid contact. Defense - Aggressive as a defender. Good read on the attack and defensive positioning, and seems to enjoy making the play. Tactical Abilities - Communication - Great communicator; organizes and directs teammates well and communicates frequently. Scrimmage Play - Play was elevated in team activities. Great understanding of your roles and responsibilities within a team. Physical Abilities - Speed - Great speed overall, in particular with footwork to get into position. Will be an important asset going forward. Explosiveness - Great quickness and explosiveness, especially in the first step or two. This will be an asset in all aspects of the game Mental Abilities - Coachable - Responds well to coaching. Asked good questions and seemed to enjoy the learning process. Team Player - Great team-first attitude. Was encouraging and supportive to teammates throughout camp. Coach's Comments Jade showed consistent engagement with her teammates and was a pleasure to work with at camp. Jade brought positive focus to every session. Her tough and consistent serve made her stand out. Her awareness on the court during scrimmage play and technical skills help her create opportunities for teammates. As a 2025 grad, she still has time to develop physically and has the potential to become and elite player.

- Regis University High School Volleyball Team Camp
- 2 years
- Regis University team camp combines skill instruction, drill demonstration, team building exercises, guest speakers, as well as competition. The camp is held on the campus of Regis University and is open to JV and Varsity teams. This camp allows players to improve in individual as well as team skills in just three days. Unlike the typical scrimmage camp, this camp improves team offense and defense by scrimmaging teams in game like drills. Each team has a college player as a coach. August 2 - 4, 2023
