Eva Goodson '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches and Recruiting Coordinators,

My name is Eva Goodson and I am a class of 2026 Setter in Tallahassee, FL.  I am a the starting Setter and Opposite for Chiles Timberwolves, the FHSAA 5A State Champions for Florida.  I am very interested in furthering my volleyball career in college and am excited to participate in the recruiting process.. I have been fortunate to be around volleyball for many years, shadowing my big sister through the club and high school years. I have played club-level volleyball for 8 years and have been a starting member of my varsity team since my 8th grade year at Florida High (Florida State University School) in Tallahassee, FL.  

I enjoy playing competitive volleyball and making friends on the various club and all-star teams I play on. Being from a smaller town and smaller clubs has meant my teammates and I have to train harder and longer than many clubs we compete against week in and week out. I enjoy putting in the hard work in volleyball drills and strength training.  

When I'm not playing, practicing, or working out, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I routinely volunteer and assist with activities at my school both academically and athletically. I have been a part of my Florida High family for 11 years starting school here in Kindergarten and starting the 10th grade this fall. I have built many relationships and have become a trusted contributor and ambassador of my school.  

My immediate goals are to graduate with honors from high school, attempt to earn as many college credits as possible, win multiple State Championship with my High School, and lead my club team to a National Championship.
